* CERAMIC FOAM FILTERS

ALUMINA BASED-CERAMIC FOAM FILTERS

Ceramic Foam Filter is a phosphate-free, high alumina-based product, It is characterized by high porosity and mechanical and chemical stability and excellent resistance to thermal attack & corrosion from molten aluminum, It can effectively remove inclusions, reduce trapped gas & provide laminar flow when filtrating molten aluminum, it is machined to tight dimensional tolerance during production, this combination of physical properties and precise tolerance make them first choice for molten non-ferrous filtration.

Ceramic Foam Filters are widely used for molten aluminum filtration in primary &secondary aluminum foundries, they are also applied as filtering media in gas-liquid and liquid-solid separation engineering. Ceramic Foam Filter is supplied with soft/hard gasket to prevent metal bypass, it is available in dimension of 40-600mm with pore size from 10-40ppi. Special size is also available on order.

For filtration of aluminium and its alloys - effectively removes dross, oxides of AI, Mg, & Si, Spinels of AI & Mg and other particulate impurities.
Specification

ZIRCONIA BASED CERAMIC FOAM FILTERS

Ceramic Foam Filter is a Ca/Mg -stabilized zirconia product, it is made by imported raw materials and unique technology. Zirconia ceramic foam filters are characterized by high porosity and mechanical and chemical stability and excellent resistance to thermal attack and corrosion from molten steel liquid, they can effectively remove inclusions, reduce trapped gas from liquid metal and provide laminar flow when applied as filter in gating system. They are machined to tight dimensional tolerance during production, this combination of physical properties and tolerance make them first choice for all types steel foundries.

Ceramic Foam Filters are widely used for molten steel and its alloy’s filtration in steel foundries,

For filtration of steel and its alloys - removes unwanted inclusions.
Specification
Porosity% 70~80
Compression Strength ≥1.5Mpa
Bulk Density ≤1.5g/cm3
Thermal Resistance 1400°C~ R.T,3times

* CERAMIC CORES

CERAMIC CORES FOR INVESTMENT CASTING

Ceramic cores are primarily used in investment casting and because of its high refractoriness and shock bearing ability. These ceramic cores are manufactured by our Chinese Partners, M/s. Filtech Precision Ceramics. They can be easily removed after casting by leaching.

The use of ceramic cores instead of conventional cores has the advantage of smooth finish on the surface of the casting. They are either made of silica or alumina and can be easily removed by alkali leaching (for silica cores) or by sand blasting (for alumina cores). Cavities with complicated shapes can be made using these cores.

CERAMIC GASKETS AND CERAMIC BLANKETS

Ceramic gaskets are available in various cut sizes as per customer requirements, this can be used up to 1260 deg. C. Ceramic Blankets of standard Rolls capable of withstanding temperatures of 1260, 1360 and 1425 deg.C are available.

Ceramic Blankets are available in densities of 96 and 128 kgjm3 for temperatures of 1000, 1260, 1360 and 1425°C. The standard roll size is 610 x 7200 mm. This is mainly used for insulating the outer shell of furnaces to avoid dissipation of heat.

* INFRARED CERAMIC PLATES

Infrared ceramic plate is widely used in gas radiant heaters. The corrugated surface of the ceramic tile combined with the honeycomb design basis promotes maximum surface area. The oxygen mixes completely with the gas, burning without flame, emitting high efficiency infrared ray and radiant heat, saving up to 40-50% energy. They are generally made of cordierite.
